I would think adding your own code or access to options closer to wordpress would help, not sure what this 404 is so?

Jennie Lynn X: it would be neat to have for sure. The reason I ask is because we have a 301 redirect page which will allow you to set up proper redirects if you are migrating from another platform and want to redirect pages. Currently available on the old system only: https://app.adultmembersites.com/settings/domain-redirects

Here's an article that touches on the difference between 301 and 404: https://www.webceo.com/blog/seo-in-brief-301-vs-404/

What would you like to customize and what is the main purpose of wanting to create a 404 page?

Kris (mymember.site): User Experience. I shared a URL to my site, typed it in wrong and it went to a page that looked nothing like my main URL. If the 404 page was customizable it could have the same template and menu as the interior pages to allow the user to click through onto other areas of the site. Right now the 404 is a logo for adult member sites that goes to general support, would not be helpful if a user was trying to find a particular page on my site but typoed.
Alternatively, a 404 that just redirected to the home page (custom domain not adult member sites) would also be just as effective.
To clarify what a 404 would be. lets say your site is example.com and your join page is example.com/join but the user typed in example.com/joi on mistake. Currently, this would lead to a page that does not look like example.com but instead looks like adultmembersites.com - minor but a nice detail none the less.
